My Thoughts
★★ Star
I received this book in return for an honest review.

(sigh) I really wanted to like this book. I really did. It honestly took me FOREVER to finish. As much as I hate to say it, it just wasn't my thing.

I really thought Arena would be like the Hunger Games or even Divergent, that's what made me jump at the chance to get to read this - it was not. So that was a major let down for me.
As soon as you start reading, it's like you are instantly overwhelmed with to many characters and information dump. Oh. and excessive drug use. Yay. (sarcasm)

I felt like Arena was forced and trying to hard to be something it wasn't. Or maybe it was just because I wasn't into it. Either way, I had to force my way through it.

I'm sorry I just wasn't a fan of this one.

  1. You actually made me curious! The synopsis totally triggers me with the online-gaming stuff...
So sad it's just a 2-star book... It sounds unique! How long did it take you to finish?

    1. A lot of people I know read it and liked it but it just didn't strike my fancy. Lol.

Sadly this book took me a while to read (a little over a month) because I couldn't get into it and had to force my way through.
